Petshop.co.uk Review

Mouse and Tom are a bit part of our life. We've had them both since September/October. They are my little boys best friends. We received this parcel today from pet shop.co.uk. Never thought of ordered stuff for them online. Usually I'm lugging big bags of food on the bus or walking home, not very practical.

Thought I was such a cute idea having there names of the parcel. I think they could smell goodies inside. Mouse was biting the celotape and scratching the box trying to get in.

What was inside our box:

Cat 'n' Feather: a fish shaped cat scratcher and door teaser. You can either put it on your wrist or hang in it on a door. There are also bells hanging off the end of the fish. Our kittens loved this toy, especially mouse, he kept trying to grab it while I was taking it out the box. http://www.petshop.co.uk/categories/cat/toys-1.html

Natures:menu chicken complete kitten food: they both loved this food. They have there own separate bowls but they kept pushing each other out the way to get each other's bowls.

Applaws complete dry food: they seemed to demolish this food quicker than there normal food we buy.

Love how both the dry and wet food are made from natural ingredients too.

Tom loved just siting in the box.

They have such a wide range of products of there website (www.petshop.co.uk). Perfect for your favourite feline, pooch, small animals, birds and whatever animals you have. Free delivery for orders over £19.99 too. Saves doing your back in carrying heavy bags of food.

I've got a 5% off code for you amazing guys for new customers - FRIENDS7.  Enjoy!!!

Cadbury's Creme Egg Cheesecake

It's my partners birthday today. Spend yesterday evening preparing to a Creme egg cheesecake.

So pleased how it came out. It stayed in one piece hahahaha. It was surprisingly simple to make.

Ingredients:

280g digestive biscuits
140g melted unsalted butter
560ml whipped double cream
140g sifted icing sugar
2x280g tubs of Philadelphia cream cheese
Juice of half a lemon
275g mini Cadbury's Creme eggs
3 or 4 full size Creme eggs
60g milk chocolate
120g white chocolate
Yellow food colouring

Instructions:
1. Crush the digestive biscuits till it looks a bit like lumpy sand. I put them in a bag and smashed them with a rolling pin. It's so much fun heheh
2. Mix with the melted butter and press into a 7 inch tin.
3. Unwrap all the mini Creme eggs and chop them up, roughly into quarters, this is painstakingly slow.
4. Mix chopped Creme eggs with the whipped cream, philadelpia, icing sugar and lemon juice. Fold in till it's fully combined.
5. Smooth over the top of the biscuit base and pop in the fridge overnight.
6. Remove the cheesecake from the tin.
7. Melt the White and milk chocolate and drizzle over the top.
8. Using half of the white chocolate colour it yellow and drizzle over the top.
9. Cut the Creme eggs in half and decorate the top of the cheesecake.
10. Cut into slices and enjoy :)

Would definitely recommend this to any Creme egg fans out there.

Wednesday Baking :)

Half way though half term, and we are already ran out of things to do. We went of to the supermarket a couple of weeks back with my friend. We always look in the reduced section for a bargain. We were surprised to find a Yule log kit for 38p, just because it's Christmas stuff.

We turned them into cupcakes and a traybake, with chocolate butter icing. Yum yum

Think my little helper enjoyed his cake. Hehehehe

What are you little ones doing this half term?

Mmmmmm......Pancakes!!!

Couldn't resist doing a pancake day post. Absolutely love pancakes, didn't do them last year for some reason.

I'm cheating and using a ready-made mixture. It was bought for us so I thought we should use it :D We have a choice of toppings including bananas, Maple syrup, Nutella and chocolate sauce.

My little helper did a really good job pouring the milk in and mixing it all up. He did try and crack the egg though, which ended up with egg shell everywhere.

I had banana and Nutella yum yum. I also had a couple of maple syrup ones. Now I can't move, I've eaten far too much. Hehehhehe

Did you have pancakes tonight? What are your favourite on pancakes? :)

Spring is coming..... Wishes

I love spring. I love seeing the seasons change, especially the new life and beginnings, with the lambing season.

As spring is coming, I've decided to focus my Wishlist on spring. As spring is still quite chilly my Wishlist focuses on comfort and warmth. I've been looking around at different shops recently to decide what to spend my birthday money on.

I really like this floppy felt hat from Topshop (www.topshop.com). Not sure if it would suit me though, not many hats seem to suit me. Only fluffy cute cats hats seem to suit me. Definitely perfect for those chilly, sunny spring mornings.

Absolutely love this dress from New Look (www.newlook.com). I did get a very similar one for my birthday in red. Particularly love the top lacey section.

I absolutely love the hooded panelled parka jacket also from Topshop (www.topshop.com). It has a detachable fur on the hood, for the warmer months. Great for all year round

The shoes from Sole Affairs (www.soleaffair.com) are fabulous. They are lightweight platform sole boots, perfect even if it gets a bit slippy out. I walk a lot so I like that they are sturdy and strong boots. The shoes are the minder lightweight chunky cleated platform sole Chelsea boots.

What's on your Wishlist at the moment? Let me know in the comments.
