My Angel

Here is my final painting for the I found an angel project. Hope you like it. I will be hiding it somewhere in Barnstaple, North Devon sometime Saturday. Keep your eyes peeled, nice little gift for whoever finds it.

Found an Angel Project

 I found this on Magically Mixed Art Community group on Facebook, Here

It is a project where you create your own angel and you leave your creation in an unexpected place. It can be in any format any medium, any way how you feel. For more information, Check it out here 

I have found a little canvas which I am going to use for the project. I will post what I creat soon :)

Fimo Teddy

This is my first attempt at making a fimo teddy bear. This was just before he was about to go in the oven. I was very pleased with the outcome I was quite worried his head would fall off. Hehe

I have started painting him, I post the results tomorrow, its getting quite late. I always get mad arty moments late at night. Strange. If they turn out well they will be on Etsy soon.

I have ordered some glossy varnish, beads, and safety pins, fingers crossed they we be arriving next week. Means more on Etsy :)

Has anyone used fimo or clay? Any tips? I would love to see your creations.

I've been neglecting my blog for the last month or so. I see cobwebs appearing :D hehe I haven't been making much art recently, its a bit sad :( Today I received a parcel this morning from my dad. I am going to be making some cute earings and pendants. Keep your eyes open for more updates :)

Olympic Torch Relay through Barnstaple 21/05/12

 

I was excited to see the torch relay coming through Barnstaple, as nothing this exciting happens here. I wanted to go across the bridge to stand with my mum, brother and sister but everyone was crowded at the end of the bridge. I had my little one with me, there was no break in the crowd to squeeze past. Far too many people in the way!

  The guy in the above photograph was annoying. He must have been over six foot and he was right at the front. He was right in my line of sight. And me being short I couldn't see much. I even wore my New Rock boots to be slightly taller.

 This is the when the torch went past me. I couldn't get a photograph of the torch and the runner. I was disappointed I didn't get a photo but atleast I had an opportunity to see it.

Limited Edition Sketchbook Project

New Business Cards

Ooooo exiting. I have 50 business cards arriving *fingers crossed* on the 29th March. If you are a member of folksy and have a shop, moo.com are doing a deal at the moment. They are offering 50 free cards to all shop members. You only have to pay postage and packing, which wasn't much.

Goals for 2012

My checklist for my goals for 2012.
Fingers crossed I can get them all done.

* Finish the Limited Edition Sketchbook - by 30th April
* Join up tomorrow for the next Art House Co-op Free Project
* Get my work shown in the Landmark gallery in London (Probably have to do it next year)
* Sell some of my work on Etsy
* Finish decorating my art drawers

I'll end up coming up with more during the year. hehe

Its about time.....

I thought it was time to start a blog, to try and get my work seen by people. In the next couple of days I will be added pictures on here and added some of my work on Etsy.
