I was excited to see the torch relay coming through Barnstaple, as nothing this exciting happens here. I wanted to go across the bridge to stand with my mum, brother and sister but everyone was crowded at the end of the bridge. I had my little one with me, there was no break in the crowd to squeeze past. Far too many people in the way!
The guy in the above photograph was annoying. He must have been over six foot and he was right at the front. He was right in my line of sight. And me being short I couldn't see much. I even wore my New Rock boots to be slightly taller.
This is the when the torch went past me. I couldn't get a photograph of the torch and the runner. I was disappointed I didn't get a photo but atleast I had an opportunity to see it.
